Spirit cabin choice

Hi rang Thompson been given choice of Deck 9 014/ 015 fixed twin. Deck 8 053/ 065. Anyone know is cabin 065 Deck 8 on the Spirit a good choice? i know it's a double but been told maybe partialy block view by either life boats or platform. looks ok on the deck plan. anyone stayed here? Thanks

Decided to go with 065 Deck 8 after reading some earlier posts and reviews. Hope it's the right choice, preferred to stick with the double bed.

Haven't stayed in 65 but have stayed in cabin 62 last year and have booked 62 again for next year. The view wasn't blocked by lifeboats although you could see the davit.

We are just booking Spirit for 2nd April, asked for Deck 9 but only have a fixed twin and over the phone recommended 62 on Deck 8 which appears to be what you have stayed in.

 

Would you recommend this, is it a double and he suggested a little larger than most and view only obstructed slightly by a winch

 

Any advice appreciated
