jeffandsteve Posted September 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2013 Hi Guys Anyone been to Cape Verde for the day on a cruise as to what the visa situation is, as on Cape Verde web site, it says you need a visa yet Fred Olsen says you don't on a Cruise Ship for the day, anyone answer. Is it one of those where they bill you at the end but don't tell you and how much is it. It even says UK holders need one Thanks

tring Posted September 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2013 We docked in Mindelo for a half day in 2006 and no visa was required. I think you will find the best info will come from a cruise company which is taking you. The FCO site does say that a visa is required, but that it can be obtained on arrival or holiday companies can arrange them.
