Balmoral Beach

Seems like this is a fairly new excursion with Carnival. Has anyone been there yet? If so willing to voice opinions? I'm travelling with my mother who is in her late 70s but is a sun lover, would this be good for her. What's the cost of umbrella rental and are they fairly available?

We went last week rom the Victory. The tender ride is about 45 minutes each way. There are umbrellas between two lounge chairs that are free. There are a few buildings for shade but the beach was very hot. There were a lot of rocks in the water. Not totally but at times it was hard to walk. If you get the tour with lunch it is $10 more. Good buy considering a burger and fries were $14.25. It is not a Carnival owned island, it is exclusive. Sandles Resort is on one end. Personally I would not do it again. Just my opinon.
