cantwait2cruise Posted October 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2013 I'm looking at the deck plan for the Empress deck on the Dream. Can anyone tell me what the space is beside inside cabin 7364 and across from balcony cabins 7378, 7376, 7374, etc. Here's a link to the deck plan for reference: http://www.carnival.com/cruise-ships/carnival-dream.aspx
irishnyc Posted October 4, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2013 It's crew access/work space.
cantwait2cruise Posted October 4, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted October 4, 2013 It's crew access/work space. If you are in the cabin beside it, say 7364, is it super noisy??? We got a free inside cabin casino offer and I just realized that hubby booked it at 5:30 tonight before checking with me. He almost booked an inside on the Upper deck until I researched and found out the lounge with music was right below it. I'm just concerned because I'm a pretty light sleeper.
irishnyc Posted October 4, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2013 If you are near one of the entry doors, it can be. We were across from the door used for room service on the Splendor. It was noisy at times. Lots of dishes rattling. Noise like that doesn't bother us though. Deliberate noise like people yelling/running in the hall annoys us. cantwait2cruise Posted October 4, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted October 4, 2013 I think we were near a door like that way back on the Sensation and I remember hearing a cart or something roll over a metal part of the bottom of the door frame. It's booked and paid for (we just had to pay the port charges and for our children), so we're going--hopefully it will be fine--I'm not complaining about cruising for a 3rd time this year. :D

On Legend there is a metal strip across the hall carpet and the steward's carts going over it, or a vacuum is all morning long!
