Anyone Ever Done Halloween Cruise?

We have done two Halloween Cruises. Yes, people dress up and there is a contest for best costume. (We lost to KISS on both cruises. Same folks on two different cruises. To be honests they really deserved to win!) It is so much fun. We wore our costumes (Scooby Doo Gang) in the dining room along with many others. The photographers even have a few special backdrops to capture the moment. Enjoy it, it is a lot of fun. Just watch out for KISS.

Halloween on board is a blast! My 4th "boo cruise" in 3 weeks. It was the deck party last year on the Legend. Lots of great costumes, fun phto backdrops, big Halloween blow-ups down the promenade. Have fun!

From John Heald today in regards to Halloween:

For those of you sailing over Halloween I wanted to let you know that any ship that has the 31st on an elegant night will change this to allow for a costume party that night. There will be trick or treating, the ship will be decorated accordingly and the staff will all be in costume.

There will be prizes and giveaways and of course the big contest judged by your fellow guests………………oh and we do allow you to wear the costumes to dinner.

The casino has a new game as well just for that night as follows;

...

WITCHING HOURS

This will be run in the casino from 10:13pm to 12:13pm.

Prizes

Guests will have a chance to spin our Trick-or-Treat wheel (slot players) or pull a lucky envelope from the Witch’s Cauldron (Table players). Prizes as follows:

• Tricks

o Caps

o T-shirts

o Free Cocktail

• Treats

o $25 Cash

o $50 Cash

o $100 Cash

o Steak House for 2

o $100 Spa Treatment

There is a special dessert as shown in the photo above and a sugar free version as well. We have created 4 new cocktails and they are;

1. Witches Brew

2. Green Goblin

3. Vampire’s Kiss

4. Ghostly Spirits

There will be a pumpkin carving contest and the Halloween movie this year is an non edited version of The Evil Dead ( 2103) ……………..Carnival is not responsible for any ruined underwear whilst watching this movie.

So, it sounds like a great time to be on board and if you are on one of our ships on the 31st I hope you get involved and have some Halloween fun.

cheers

We sailed on the Glory a few years ago on Halloween, it was so much fun. I'm so glad I decided to dress up, I would have felt out of place if I didn't. You don't have to spend a lot of money on a costume, a little creativity goes a long way (I was Pippi Longstocking). We wore our costumes to the main dining room and kept them on all night. They had a costume contest on the Promenade deck near the casino. We had a great time and hope to sail at Halloween again some year.
