UpGRADE Fairy Still Alive and Well

Just an observation for any Carnival people reading this board: that upgrade call this morning was worth it for the positive publicity it's getting - not only here, but EVERYWHERE else she tells this story.

 

How does the business phrase go about a happy customer telling 3 people and an unhappy one telling 10?

 

I bet she tells more than 10 about her good news. In fact, she already has.

We are leaving today on the Carnival Magic and just got a call giving us a complimentary upgrade from an inside 4E to an 8E balcony. She did mention that she noticed that we were platinum and since we live about 50 miles from Galveston she might have thought that we hadn't left yet. Also there are three of us and the cabin is for 3. I'm going to surprise my husband and granddaughter. So excited.
