RSLeesburg Posted October 7, 2013 Author #26 Share Posted October 7, 2013 The NCCs can now be transferred to another person, once, and only before you assign a cruise to the NCC. So you could buy some for multiple staterooms, as you suggest. They don't expire, so no time limit, but the $100 cost is non-refundable. YES. He did mention that you can transfer them to another person, although my wife and I don't know anyone else who cruise - outside of those we met on the ship...lol
travelplus Posted October 7, 2013 #27 Share Posted October 7, 2013 Honestly I think its stupid for Cruise Lines not to just automatically assign you a number when you book your first cruise. Airlines and Hotels do it. Perhaps Royal should have an entry level before Gold and then everyone becomes Gold on their next cruise. For instance if your not Gold you don't get to go to the Welcome Back Party but the new level before Gold gives you a Savings Booklet with a sample of the various venues onboard. Perhaps instead of the Welcome Back Party they could have a New Royal Cruiser Party with drinks and information about cruising on Royal. Then the Loyalty Ambassador could book times for your future cruise. Just my 2 cents.
