Port Everglades parking w/trailer

We have contacted a few offsite parking places and they are all saying since we have a small trailer that we will be charged an oversized vehicle price of nearly $25 a day. We are thinking of just doing parking at the port unless someone has any ideas on somewhere that will not charge a lot extra for the trailer?

Have you considered any of the hotels that allow for "free" parking while gone (if staying as a guest for a night pre or post cruise)? Might want to call a couple of them to see what their additional daily rate for the trailer is. Might be able to work something out with them. Also check the aiport long term parking.
