Formal nights for back to back on Dream

Booked a 14 night back to back cruise on the Dream for next September. Do we get invitations for both weeks for the Captain's Gala Night? If so, do most people go to both cocktail parties?

Yes, you do get invites for both weeks & we always go to both - don't always bother with the Captain's Reception now, certainly not not both weeks as it's a lot of queuing for photos we don't want but we always dress up & go to dinner both weeks! We did well out of the Caprain's reception this year - we were sat in an area where the wine waiters were very generous with the sparkling wine & they kept topping us up & topping us up which was lovely as you don't get sparkly on AI !!!!

Yes :). It was my husband's birthday while we were onboard this & last year so we had a nice bottle of Prosecco both times to enjoy too ;)

We also gave the captain part a miss on the second week. We love the dressing up. Have a lovely time.
