Benefits of rebooking with a TA?

I have seen posts in here that have people initially booking with NCL but then transferring the reservation to a TA. What is the benefit to that? Is it just a lower rate that is seen and scooped up or would one transfer without a "better deal" on the table?

I just went with a TA over NCL because I got a better rate and got $75 / cabin OBC vs only $25 with NCL. Other than that, I don't know why someone would transfer. Maybe they feel like they get more personal service.

With most agents you will get that personal attention. Also if there is a price reduction, the agent should notify you and adjust the rate as long as its before final payment. You may also get a better group rate and OBC and

other perks. If you happen to have any issues, the agent is there for you at all times.
