AOS Holiday Decorations...will they be up for 12/1 Sailing?

Hi All...

 

Has anyone sailed RCCL after Thanksgiving and before mid-Dec? We have done Disney a couple of times and they have their decorations up right at T-Day and Carnival did as well. What is Royal's usual timeframe? Can we expect to see holiday decorations up for our December 1st sailing of Adventure out of San Juan?

They usually start putting up decorations on the day after Thanksgiving. It takes some days for all the decorations to be completed, so you may not see everything by Dec 1.

We cruised Adventure during the first week of December back in 2011. The decorations were fully up on embarkaction day (Dec 4).

We sailed the AOS on Dec 2 last year. There were some decorations up when we boarded the ship. By the time we disembarked, there were many more including a fabulous gingerbread village in the Promenade that they were in the process of constructing as we left.

It would be great if they were up! It would be nice to combine a cruise with the holidays; puts one in the spirit!!
