there are 5 of us traveling on this cruise and we were interested in visiting the catacombs in palarmo. Does anyone know the best way to do this?

Why not post this on your roll call?

Fellow cruisers might have the same idea and be able to offer suggestions.

Go to Oceania Roll Calls

[name of ship] roll calls

Find your cruise on the list. You will find fellow cruisers there.

We did the catacombs via a ship's tour on our Oct '11 Marina cruise (we had tons of OBC to burn). It was quite a nice tour as ship's tours go but I think it would be very easy to catch a cab and go there on your own. It wasn't far from the port and you can get a guided tour once you are there.

It IS quite a fascinating place.

As we were leaving there was a wedding taking place in the chapel, with photographs being taken in front of the chapel. One of the members grabbed my husband and had him join the bridal party for a photo!
