car rental at bayport cruise terminal?

I'm trying to find out the cost of renting a car for a few days post cruise in January.

 

I can't find any car rental companies close to the bayport terminal in Houston? We are staying in Galveston for a few days post cruise and having trouble getting reasonable prices for shuttles etc. so thought about renting a car.

 

We would want it from the cruise terminal then we would return it there and get a taxi to IAH on our day we go home.

 

Any suggestions?

You may try Kemah, Seabrook or Webster.

Or, perhaps taking a taxi to Hobby Airport to a rental agency.

2) Rent car and Hobby airport

3) Enjoy post cruise fun in Houston area

4) Return car to IAH

5) Fly home.
