gail811 Posted October 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2013 We have been to Roatan several times and always hired a driver to go around the island. This trip we will have grandchildren with us and have rented 2 cabanas at the beach right off the ship. The older grandkids want to zipline. Is the zipline there near port run by Carnival? I can't find it on their excursion page and want to make sure there is something close by, otherwise I will book that through Victor Bodden for them and their parents. I would love to hear from anyone having recent experience with the zipline at the port!

reno3 Posted November 10, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2013 (edited) Sorry, did not see your post until now..... We were on the Dream in April and had a cabana booked also. We had to dock in Coxen Hole so they canceled our cabana. We had the zip line booked through Carnival and it was with Clip n Zip. Carnival shuttled us to the Clip n Zip. if I am correct it is right up the hill from the cabanas. Myself and son did this excursion. We had a great time and my son is going to do it again in December on our next cruise. We have a cabana booked again....hope we make it this time :D I can't remember the cost, they do take a lot of photos of you (for the both of us we have 35 photos )and you can buy the CD, which we did. You can bring a camera, wish I had. I could have gotten some nice photos of my son on the platforms. I am going to try and post a couple of photos. BTW I just checked our excursions and it is listed as Zip Line Express. Edited November 10, 2013 by reno3

trabeler Posted November 14, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 14, 2013 We did clip n zip as well when we were on Princess. It is only a few minutes walk from the port and within the secured compound. If you're on a ship that offers an excursion with clip n zip, you may need to book through the cruiseline. Princess doesn't offer them as an excursion so you can just walk up and pay a lower price.
