Shuffleboard, ping pong, and giant chess

We're a little nervous about a smaller/older ship keeping the kids occupied, since only the middle child likes Camp Carnival and they were spoiled by another ship in the fleet with a ropes course and Waterworks. :D

Does the Victory still have shuffleboard and ping pong? I read that it also has giant chess, right? Where do we get the equipment for these activities and mini-golf? Do they actually charge for failure to return? Ping pong balls can be difficult to keep track of in the wind. :)

Is the aft-pool adults-only or not, especially after the addition of the Serenity deck? The info seems contradictory and I know it's going to be tempting, right next to the pizza stand. (Although DS doesn't like the new pizza, and all ships have it now, right?)

What about evening activities that are family-friendly?
