drarill Posted December 1, 2013 #26 Share Posted December 1, 2013 Beautiful pictures Mercruiser!!:):) To the OP, we tried an AFT cabin once, it was a Royal Family Suite in RCCL and the two bedroom cabin was worth everything, including the long walks everywhere!! But we just love the HUMP cabins, great view to the aft or front, easy access to the elevators and large balconies. As you can imagine our next cabin on the Reflection is a HUMP.:):)
wwcruisers Posted December 1, 2013 #27 Share Posted December 1, 2013 (edited) We do love aft cabins, but -- as others have pointed out -- the only aft deck on Solstice Class that has any cover/privacy is the top (Resort Deck). So, for our 2014 Holiday cruise (Eclipse), we are trying one of the hump balconies. Thanks to everyone who posted Solstice Class cabin info (on the sticky), we were able to do our homework and snag one of the larger balconies! We would love to try one of the large aft balconies on Millie Class -- but (understandably) those book up fast! Loved the corner "Sweet Sixteen" that we had for our only Millennium cruise, though. :D Edited December 1, 2013 by wwcruisers
jtravel777 Posted December 28, 2013 #28 Share Posted December 28, 2013 We had a hump cabin on a westbound TA. The cabin was on the port side of the ship. The balcony was awesome, you could have shade if you moved back or sun if you move forward. No problem with wind. We have 9241 booked on a westbound TA next year on the Silhouette. We love the hump cabins. Close to the elevators but not noisy. We just had 9241 on the Silhouette westbound TA and loved it. No noise, close to the elevators and the perfect balcony for a westbound TA.
