sardam Posted November 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2013 I was going to have my sons (7 years old) bring a few gifts for local children at our stops. They are excited to do this. Is it allowed or is it looked negatively upon those that do?
centerpoint Posted November 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2013 We've done it before, and it seemed to go well. Check out this website: ciudaddeangeles.org It's the "City of Angels" orphanage on Cozumel. I'm sure your attention would be appreciated.
Colorado Kat Posted November 2, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 2, 2013 I would give the gifts to a school or orphanage, to benefit lots of children. Maybe soccer balls or jump ropes?

CRUISER2CRUISER2 Posted November 11, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) Karen at Dive Choice in Cozumel has for years and years been collecting toys for children that she delivers directly to the needy children of Cozumel personally at Christmas time. The dive community which is huge on Cozumel has been bringing toys in their extra space in their bags for years to her. Read this for more info and pictures of the kids getting toys at past Christmases http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/cozumel/469191-christmas-gifts-children-who-really-deserve-cozumel-2013-a.html Edited November 11, 2013 by CRUISER2CRUISER2
