Luggage tags

I have not cruised in a few years - how do we obtain our luggage tags? are they still mailed to us a few weeks before sailing date?

RCCL sends you luggage tags via your e mail address with your cruise documents. You have to print them out, fold them per provided instructions and attach them to your luggage with a stapler, so its important to bring one with you. They worked well on my recent cruise on the Freedom of the Seas. I bought a cheapo stapler from a dollar store.

I believe only suite guests qualify to have luggage tags mailed to them now (and maybe Pinnacle members?)

 

If you are not in a suite (or a Pinnacle), you will print the tags from your cruise documents. It's typically toward the end of the online packet. I just print that page (and generally print about 4 of them). You can fold them and staple the morning of the cruise.

 

I'm sure someone else can provide the date this changed. I'm thinking sometime mid year last year. Oddly enough, I am booked in an OV Balcony on Allure for January. I just got the welcome email and it mentions going online to do many things, one of them is ordering luggage tags. You'd think they would update that email!

About 45 days before the cruise you'll see the luggage tags in your online account. At that point you can print them out.
