streetspirit Posted November 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2013 I really wanted to say how good this three piece band was on my recent cruise on the Eclipse. I know Perry Grant gets a lot of praise but these guys were truly amazing. With a lead guitar, acoustic guitar, bass and fantastic vocals they made a good selection of rock, pop, jazz, blues etc their very own. In the Grand Foyer they certainly entertained while I enjoyed a drink or two from the Passport Bar/Lounge. With a very varied set list including... Heart Of Stone (Neil Young) Whiskey In The Jar (Thin Lizzy) To The Moon And Back (Savage Garden) New York (Alicia Keys) Betty Davis Eyes (Kim Carnes) Handbags And The Gladrags (Rod Stewart) Plus some Elvis, Bob Dylan and Beatles. candhu18 Posted November 6, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2013 I totally agree with streetspirit, they were excellent. A somewhat grainy picture of the band.
streetspirit Posted November 6, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted November 6, 2013 The lad in the middle looks like a young Brian May. We affectionaly renamed the band 'Curly' amongst my small group of family. Saying that the Oceanview cafe was renamed 'The Trough'. We're such a classy family ;)
Carinthalas Posted November 7, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 7, 2013 I completely agree with the comments on Whos Carter Hayes. They where great and we enjoyed listening to them on our recent Canary Island trip.
