We enjoyed the entertainment.

In the main theater, there were three production shows and the production cast was good. The stand up comedian was Jeff Harms. His comedy is clean and he has a lot of interaction with the audience. There was a comic magician named Chip Romero and a juggler named Charles Peachock. A Second City troupe was also on board.

The production singersSecond City and Chip Romero also performed in the Spinnaker.

With contracts, the performer may be different next October. The production cast's contracts are expiring this month and new performers will board.

The CD was Julie. She is personable and was out and about, but was primarily a hostess / MC. Her sidekick Dan Dan was the funny guy. There was the usual assortment of musicians, the orchestra, and a cover band. There was a themed party most nights.

There were also the usual "audience interaction" shows like the Newlywed Game, Perfect Couple, Liars Club, etc. that we did not attend.

We went to Cayo Levantado beach. It was a nice day. If you like private islands like GSC, you will like it. Food and drink are from local enterprises. Drink prices are low.

Was the beach and equipment in good shape?

I've read reviews commenting on loungers/chairs being ratty and in short supply. And that there are no umbrellas so you have no shade.

TIA

I thought that the beach was in good shape. It was no worse than Orient Beach in SXM. The loungers were a bit old, but free and serviceable.

Latecomers (around 11AM) were having problems finding loungers for a while. Around noon, some folks head back to the ship for lunch and loungers open up for everyone.

Cayo Levantado chairs do not have umbrellas, but there is shade - you may have to move around a little bit, but there are many palm trees and on the far left side of the beach near the massage area you'll find the best constant shade if that is a consideration, and you can always stay in the grassy areas under a tree too. Its a nice beach day for sure. Enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking that sounds like what we'll end up doing!
