Cruise fare for babies?

My daughter-in-law and her husband are planning on bringing their 10 month old baby on a cruise.

Does Royal Caribbean have a special rate for babies under one year old?

Do they charge the same as for an adult 3rd passenger in the same cabin?

There is no special rate for babies, the fare would be the same as the 3rd person rate.

Just booked a cruise on the oasis in a royal family suite including two grandchildren.

There will be four adults two children. The girls are three and 1 1/2. They are listed on the booking as age 0 to 17 . First two adults are $1424 per person.

Adults three and four and children are $574.00per person. Insurance for first two people is $89 each. The other two adults and children are $59 each. Gratuities are the same for all. It ended up cheaper to book the suite than three balcony cabins. Go figure. (;>)

Yes, paid 3rd fare rate for a 6 month old

Fares on Royal Caribbean are the same, no matter the age, except for sometimes when there is a discount for 55+.

Fair and automatic tips are the same for babies. My experience has been its worth every penny (and often tip extra for the crew helping us out with the little one.)
