Bellfree Bat Posted November 12, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 12, 2013 Who did you dive with in Cayman and Cozumel?
Dabaras Posted November 12, 2013 Author #7 Share Posted November 12, 2013 In Cayman we did unguided shore diving and rented tanks and weights from Eden Rock (very economical way to do three dives in Cayman) and we did Aldora in Cozumel. Love the steel tanks, fast boats and surface interval at Mr. Sancho's.

Bellfree Bat Posted November 16, 2013 #10 Share Posted November 16, 2013 (edited) In Cayman we did unguided shore diving and rented tanks and weights from Eden Rock (very economical way to do three dives in Cayman) and we did Aldora in Cozumel. Love the steel tanks, fast boats and surface interval at Mr. Sancho's. Thanks for the Aldora in Cozumel recommendation. We had a REAL bad experience the last time in Cozumel on a ship's excursion and would rather not even dive than to do one of those again....We have confirmed reservations with them in COZ, Sea Sports Belize and Divers Down in Grand Cayman. Middleager Posted December 21, 2013 #12 Share Posted December 21, 2013 Beautiful pics. In G Cayman, I also dived at Eden Rock. Very nice shore shallow dive, with surprising lots to see. Had been to Coz diving (and wife snorkeling) a couple of times. Tried to use Aldora for their bigger steel tanks, but the timing just wouldn't work out. But it was still very good, as wife was able to snorkel on top while we dived.
divinmule Posted December 27, 2013 #13 Share Posted December 27, 2013 Great pics Do you remember if Eden Rock had a small beach? I want to take the kids on a discovery scuba but the adults may want to lie on the beach...trying to find a place to do that. Thinking either Eden Rock or Sunset house. Not a sand beach, it is iron beach with a sidewalk down to water. There is an artificial beach at the restaurant just down from Eden Rock though.
