Hotwire FLL hotels

Anyone familiar with Hotwire's hotels? We're trying to reserve for 9/9 and it's coming up with a rate of $59 for a hotel that has several amenities. Is anyone here familiar with what hotels in FLL (downtown) they are using for rooms?

I use "Hotwire" for cost comparison purpose; since they do not reveal the actual hotel name.

Then, I use "Priceline.com" for a better pricing--usually the hotels are 3 Stars with national names.

I will be sailing NCL Jewel late January 2006 and may also stay in Ft Lauderdale or Miami area.

Amerisuites in downtown FLL, 17th St has been going for $50 on Priceline - it is supposed to be a good place according to other posters on this site. 2 1/2 star - downtown.
