Fantasy 2/8/14 booked today!!

Just booked! We're not telling our daughter and the secret is driving me crazy!!! Travelling with both our moms, so there will be 5 of us (2 rooms). We are first time DCL passengers, though experienced cruisers on other lines. So looking forward to it!

 

I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions....

You'll really like the Fantasy. She is a beautiful ship and the cast members are outstanding. The food was good and the shows (except for the last one) were outstanding.

My daughter (8) and I will be on this cruise also. This will be our first on the Fantasy but 3rd with Disney.

Question...do you recommend bringing princess and pirate costumes for the kids (we have one DD who will turn 7 the day we set sail)? How many princess dresses? I see many suitcases in my future....

I think I took 3-4 on our first trip and then she wouldn't wear them! I would say a couple would do. There are a couple of princess meets throughout the week where all the princesses are in the same place. And if you take pirate costumes for pirate night you will be all set.

 

You should also check out BBB on the fantasy. There are several "princess" makeovers and on pirate night they do pirate stuff for boys too. I got a reservation for my dd for semi formal night.
