We are thinking about snorkeling at Porte Marie and would like to know the best area to see the most fish while we're there.

 

Is it very far to swim to second reef?

We read about PortoMari and drove there, finding a beautiful spot to which we will return, unfortunately, it began raining so hard we were unable to stay. However, earlier we stopped at a most beautiful undeveloped little beach (in the National Park), playa Abou, near the western end. Definitely worth the drive if you have a rental car. The cab is just too pricey.
