Two reservation numbers?

This is my first RC cruise and we are booked on the Allure in a Family Interior Stateroom. I am just wondering if anyone knows why I have two separate reservation numbers? The room says it fits 6 people and I have 5. My husband, myself, and two kids are on one reservation and my 4 year old daughter has a separate reservation number. I didn't realise this at first and then had to go back and book dining etc....for her.

Because RCL's reservation system only allows up to 4 per booking number
