cruise_control Posted November 18, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2013 We had a FCC that was going to expire very soon, so we recently booked an April 2015 cruise. We now have friends that want to go on a different cruise in October 2015 and would like for us to come along. With a boy leaving for college soon, we can't afford both. My questions for you veteran cruisers: 1.) Can we change our current booking and go with our friends and still keep our FCC perks (OBC)? 2.) We usually book via the website and bookings past April 2015 aren't showing up yet. Would a PVP be able to book farther in advance? Thanks for the help! Depends upon how you booked the first one, might or might not be a penalty to the original fare for changing. When they announce it will be availabe no matter where you go and book. arush5268d Posted November 18, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2013 The PVP can't book a sailing that hasn't been scheduled / announced yet. You should call carnival on the first question.
Isa65 Posted November 18, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2013 1.) Can we change our current booking and go with our friends and still keep our FCC perks (OBC)? Yes, you can. Whenever the schedule for Summer and Fall 2015 is announced and you have chosen the cruise you want to go on - call Carnival and they will transfer your deposit and your FCC to the new booking (provided you are not Early Saver - in this case you will lose $50 p.p. of your deposit)
