Orchestra

Just got off the Conquest repo and was surprised to see that there was no orchestra on this ship/sailing. Is CCL doing away with orchestras all together? Would like to know what ships still have or don't have them anymore

The last two Carnival cruises we've done haven't had orchestras. In fact, with the broadway-style shows on Carnival, it seem like they're requiring more of the performers to pull double duty (singing and dancing) thereby reducing the number of people that are required to be on payroll.

Some if the ships that got 2.0 upgrades no longer have the show band. The Liberty and the Dream both still DO have the show band. A couple that I know don't is the Breeze and the Conquest. Not sure about the others

Just off the SPLENDOR a few weeks ago, and, yes, they still had the showband.
