Sheraton to become Melia Resorts

In the next few weeks,(Dec 1) the Sheraton Cable Beach will be taken over by the Melia Resorts group (as part of Bahamar). There is no word yet on how or if this will impact day pass status for this property.

 

No word on Wyndham and how or if the will still be considered sister properties or have access to the new property.

 

I'll try and get additional information as soon as possible. Or if someone has experience once this happens.. please post it.

I would check with them directly after the take over. Melia is generally an All-inclusive. If it is.. lots of changes should be implemented.

 

Currently, they do NOT have this information at hand.

We have a day room booked for January and I received an e-mail from them saying they will honor it. We had friends going with us and they were going to just buy a day pass, they could not confirm whether they would be available. They told us we could book another day room up to Dec1, 2013. So I just booked another day room today for our friends.

 

If you would like to book a day room, I would do it this week ;)
