Found a ring!

I left my car key in the safe on one of my cruises. Carnival returned it to me by mail. I was very grateful as replacing it would be quite expensive.

 

How did you get home?

I almost lost a ring in the safe on my last cruise. I had just placed it loose in the safe while rushing out of the cabin one evening and over the next several days it was pushed around as we got other things out of the safe.

 

When I went to pack I couldn't find it and started probing all the nooks and found a very small space in the bottom corner on the hinge side of the safe that even a small finger couldn't get into.

 

I had to use a nail file to fish it out.

 

So leason learned.....never put loose stuff in the safe.

We have learned to keep the real stuff at home. We know who we are married to. Charming Charlie's had incredibly "I"m MARRIED!" looking rings for $5. Come to mention it, I never did find it after my last cruise. Which is fine. So there is something to be said for not bringing it in the first place. At home in a safe or drawer is where I love to know where its at.
