Black Friday is not for travel providers. It is for retail stores to suck people. Threads about this have been popping up like crazy lately. Nobody recalls ever hearing about a black friday cruise sale.

False

When DW and I sail RCCL, we use the same TA. Received an Email today from them about Black Friday Sales on several lines. Also received an Email today from NCL about a Black Friday Sale.

I too receive emails and see it on FB from a major cruise specialist affiliated with these boards.

No such thing as a black Friday sale except a usual ad with a name. What will the sale name be next week?

Do you always look at the glass as being half empty?? Carnival has some new management. NOBODY knows what's in store for Friday. Maybe nothing. Maybe something. We'll just have to wait and see.:D

Carnival is having a "Thanksgiving Week" sale starting today.

http://www.cruisecritic.com/bargains/news.cfm?NewsID=14148

Carnival: Book a cruise during Carnival’s Thanksgiving week “Pack & Go” sale and you’ll find nonrefundable low fares on select last-minute November and December sailings from $139 (that’s $35 per person, per night). Destinations include Mexico, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The sale runs November 27 through December 6, 2013.

Wow Carnival really likes teasing us. At 4:10am they posted on their Facebook page:

"Rise and shine, sleepy shoppers — it’s Black Friday! What fun deals are you most looking forward to this year?"

I know they are not offering Black Friday sales (just the pack and go sale) but I go to carnival.com to double check. And as expected there are no sales I can see. Why must you tease us Carnival?!?!
