puli Posted November 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) Please be aware when booking a tour through Tours Plaza (Eduardo) that the refund policy is not exactly as stated on their web site and on your confirmation statement. In writing it states that there will be a full refund of your deposit if you cancel before 2 weeks of your tour date. Actually, if you cancel after 2 months of booking, even if your tour is 6 months out, you will forfit %5 to Tours Plaza and an additional %5 of the remaining refund will be deducted by PayPal. Tours Plaza and Eduardo have great reviews and he certainly is pleasant and extremely helpful in planing a "Cozumel Hiring a Driver for a Day" but he does need to clarify the refund policy. My advice to him was to process future reservations but not require the deposit until less than 60 days out . By doing this PayPal cancellation penalities would be avoided by both the seller (which is passed on to you) and the buyer.
