NCL Online Check-in Passport question

Hi all,

 

Just checking my family in online now. I noticed my MIL has 2 last names on her passport (maiden and married), but on the cruise reservation its just her married last name. Damn!! Do you think this will be an issue? Should her cruise reservation have both last names on it?

I would call NCL tomorrow to find out, I wouldn't go by what anyone else says, since you want to make sure your MIL makes it.

Seconded. Call NCL and get the straight dope from them.

 

The obvious answer is that the IDs and reservation should match exactly. I wouldn't go with any deviation from that on the advice of an internet forum. Call NCL.

Always good to question if you are not sure.

My passport has my first name, maiden name (now middle name) and last name.

My husbands has first name, middle name and last name.

 

The cruise line for many years had First Name and Last Name. They now have a middle initial.

 

In my experience it has been more important for the passport name to match the airline name.

Again, that is just my experience.
