Crown Princess - Toilet issue question

Just returned from 7 days on the Crown, cabin R702. We had an issue with the toilet not flushing on two occasions but a quick call was all it took to remedy the situation very promptly. Also noticed a strange smell in the hallways and public restrooms from time to time. Sailed on the Emerald three years ago and did notice that the same areas on the Crown seem a bit worn. Time for some sprucing up, Princes! As always, the staff was wonderful and the part if cruising that allows us to overlook such minor issues.

We are getting ready to sail on the Crown in January with several family members who have never sailed Princess before. Would hate to have experiences like this be their introduction to this cruiseline. The last couple of posts have made me less anxious about our trip!
