I'm sure that you are free to speak with whomever you please, but if you had wanted to make a change to your Reservation as a result of that conversation, then you would have been referred back to your Agent. It's rather unfortunate that you felt "happier" dealing with the Line direct, when you had theoretically "hired" a professional to do it for you.
