OBC After Booking

I booked a 7 day cruise for late April 2014. There has been a price drop since booking, and Princess gave me the lower price. They now are offering that same price plus an onboard credit. Will Princess give me that onboard credit if I call? I'd like to hear from anyone with previous experience before I call.

We called and got a lower price thinking that was that, but we ended up getting additional OBC as well. That may be the exception rather than the rule, but it doesn't hurt to call and try.

If it's prior to your final payment and the offer isn't annotated "for new bookings only" then get in touch with them and ask. I have done it and gotten the OBC. If final payment has been made you can still ask but don't hold your breath for the offer.

Agree with the others that you can probably get the OBC.

 

However, see if this changes the conditions of the booking to make the deposit non-refundable if you need to later cancel the cruise. If so, do you want that new restriction?
