Help Please - Royal Caribbean Terminal in Port Canaveral

Recommended Posts

We have three cabins on the 8/12/05 Sovereign of the Sea from Pt. Caneveral. Due to the way the cabins are booked and the arrival timing of all people in the party, we may all have to meet at the pier before boarding. Is there a lounge area where we may sit after the security screening and shipboard checkin? If not, what options are available?

Thanks for any Help.

There is no lounge in the port. after you check in you just follow the lines on the ship. Why not just meet in your cabins or in the Windjammer for lunch, that is where we meet our friends last month when we cruised on the Mariner. We also had our cell phones, since we were still in Florida, no problem using them, to call each other. Have a great cruise

After you board the ship they have drinks available on deck 4, you can meet and mingle and check out the services available while you wait to be able to get to your cabins. The Windjammer is a great place as well as the Lounge area. Lots of places to go, where there isn't to many people to confuse everyone your meeting. Have a great time, we sure did and now we have the bug.

We would like to board the ship and meet up. Our TA didn't think they would let our grandson (minor) board without our son (his dad and cabin mate) being there. Since both their names are on one boarding ticket, the TA thought all people from each cabin would have to be in attendance in order for anyone from that cabin to check in and board.

There shouldn't be any problem with boarding the ship since everyone is cross referrenced....the will see the rest of the party of you already boarded...if there is a problem I'm sure they will get ahold of you...i wouldn't worry about it at all.
