Cruise care voucher

We just had to cancel our 18 yr ol dd on our New Years cruise. Only refund will be a travel voucher that has to be used by her within a year. Has anyone had any luck transferring it to someone else. We are elite status and hoping to use it on a future booked cruise because she will most likely not cruising within that time.

There was just a thread about transferring a Future Cruise Credit and I believe that it was not allowed.
