I think it's safe to say I was all the way gone by the time I made it back to the ship. After an unpleasant visit with the porcelain throne, I crashed. Hard.

 

Tonight was our elegant night at dinner.

 

How was the food? I don't know.

 

Do you have a picture of you in your dress? Nope.

 

Was lobster on the menu? *shrugs shoulders*

 

Did the waiters sing or dance? Good question.

 

I was passed the hell out until 10:34 pm. The KMA did, indeed, KMA.

 

Nassau-1, Kim-0

 

I was hungry and ordered a grilled cheese and some dessert from room service. I really needed something in my stomach. After I showered and was getting dressed, I looked in my bags at my purchases from the straw market. When did I buy these two magnets?

 

Nassau-2, Kim-0 :o

 

At least you got off the boat. lol Unlike some people.

Love that face (disappointed look), but I feel ya. Go to Florida and you want a beach day, right??? On with more of the review!

 

Yeah, I was pretty bummed. If I would have gone to Dania Beach right there by my hotel, I would have had a few minutes of sun. But Ft. Lauderdale Beach was nicer, and I didn't get to enjoy either. :rolleyes:

 

There's the answer I was looking for, haha. Sky goddess(es) it is then, unless they're dudes, who are then flight attendants.

Friday, 11/15

Day 1- Miami/Embarkation

 

I was up early at 7:30 am, showered and packed and was out at 8:45 am. I grabbed a bagel with cream cheese on the way out and had a smoothie drink I bought at Publix yesterday to go with it. I cranked up the Daddy Yankee in the car and headed for Miami. I was so pumped up and ready. Traffic was ridiculous but I kept jamming, excited for my upcoming weekend. I got the car back right on time and took the free shuttle from the airport to the Port of Miami. I made it around 10:45 am.

 

 

Hey Kim! Love that you have another review...they are very entertaining!! Question for you: There's a free shuttle from the Miami airport to the port of Miami? Wish I had known that...would have saved me some money! Do you know how often it runs and where it picks up passengers from? Thanks :)

I think she meant a free shuttle from the car rental company. If you rent a car through them they have a free shuttle to the port.

Loving this review as much as all of the others....

 

I FINALLY did book the Breeze Southern, which I thought I never would.

 

B-Day gift to myself along with my BFF Cruise Buddy. I am sure that we will have just as much fun as you.:D

 

Casino Premier Cruise also which is make is ALL THAT MUCH BETTER:o

I know I won't be the only person trying to figure out WHO IS G!?!?!?!? So Ms. GAPearl I've spent my lunch going back to read your other review to find out about "G". LOL!!!!

 

For those interested post # 103 begins the encounter with G. And I thought I read all of your reviews but it looks like this was after my Allure cruise and I wasn't on the Carnival board much and I missed that review. So I'm enjoying it none the less as you write this one.

 

Cruising with you is still on my bucket list. :D A good time to be had for sure!!

Sooooo excited to see this! We were just on the Sensation for Thanksgiving and have also been on the Imagination. Can't wait to read it! I feel like you are an old friend....not OLD, but longtime....OK, not longtime.....LOL...you know what I mean!!! Close friend! =)

You, my friend, are divine. Thank you for the start of your Imagination review. I'll be sailing her in 40 days, and I just kind of want to see what's fun to do, eat, see on the ship. Great job so far, Sky Goddess! :D

 

You and your girls are going to have so much fun. I'm going to finish this cruise in the morning, so stick around to read about the sea day.

 

Great review so far! You look like you're having a really fun time. I've been on both of these ships, only on their 4-day cruises. I've met some fun, outgoing people on them too. Looking forward to more posts.

Enjoying your review. I wanted to inquire how you got such a great deal on your rental car? I believe you did what we are looking at doing in May. We are looking to pick up at FLL and return in Miami as we are flying into Ft Lauderdale and Cruising out of Miami. Any info you can share is greatly appreciated!

 

Hi! I really didn't do anything special but become an obsessive planner. I look at Alamo and National's website directly and always book directly through them. I prefer these two rental companies because they don't hold an extra deposit on your credit card like the others. I'll book when I see a good rate and just keep checking, as the rates usually go down as the date gets closer.
