Hi everyone - we will be staying at the Crowne next Saturday before our Royal cruise.

We will not have a car - can anyone tell me if there is place we Can walk to which sells wine?

Any restaurant tips or other tips for the area would be great too - we'll have a half day there.

Thanks!

Great pool!

You actually can walk to 17th Street. It isn't that far. Total Wine would be the best.

Just walk across Federal Highway and walk down S. Miami.

There's not much of anything immediately around the Crowne Plaza other than Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza and Lester's Diner about 1/3 of a mile west on Highway 84 (Marina Mile). You'd be better off to get over to 17th Street as BH has suggested. It's a little bit of a hike even on S. Miami, so you might walk over to that area and then take a taxi back.

I presume you're staying at the Crowne Plaza on State Road 84?

If so, you don't need a car. They have an on-site restaurant (Kiki's) which is pretty good. They also have a little store that sells last minute items and they carry a small wine selection.

Or you can take a cab to the Winn Dixie, which is really close by.

Have a fun stay - we really like the Crowne Plaza. Getting up in the morning and seeing your ship is awesome!

Thanks everyone! We'll be at the Crowne this time tomorrow, and we're really looking forward to it. And we are planning to have dinner at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza.
You really should head over to Las Olas. The holiday lights are stunning right now. The entire street is lit.
