MisterBill99 Posted July 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2005 We're cruising on Grandeur on August 5th and got free airfare so we're flying from New Jersey to Baltimore instead of driving (in fairness it would be a 4 hour drive for me). They got us a good flight going down (get in at 10am) but going home we leave around 6pm. RCI offers a Baltimore bus tour for $34. Is there any way to get them to just charge me the difference between my transfer price (which is apparently $25 in Baltimore, although I did not pay) and the cost of the bus tour? Personally I'd be thrilled with a few hour stop at the waterfront area... it would certainly be better than sitting at the airport!
CruisinDawn Posted July 15, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2005 Interesting question. I have only looked into the Miami & Ft. Lauderdale post excursions all of which said they drop you off at this airport or that airport. Guess I never thought you had to pay for transfer on top of the cost of the tour. Would love to know the answer to your question. For those that have hours to kill seems the tour would be ideal (cheap entertainment) if you don't have to pay for a ride to the airport. Anyone know? RoanokeVACruzn Posted July 15, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2005 We just got back Sunday from the Mariner. We also had a return flight for 6:45pm. Instead of sitting at the airport for hours, we chose the Kennedy Space Center tour in Port Canaveral. This was a great way to pass the time. They took us directly to the airport. After having dinner in the airport we only had to wait 1 more hour for our flight. This worked extremely well with 2 kids.
