We stayed in the room just after upgrade on the Summit a couple of years ago... fab room... count yourself lucky! Make friends with others on board and invite them to your room over the course of the sailing. That balcony deserves a few special events on it during the sailing. Enjoy it as others have!!

Thanks! I am getting very excited now. We are travelling with 2 other couples that are in OV rooms so I am going to surprise them.

I do not have any photos, but our daughter stayed in 7202 in March with her 3 kids. There were 11 of us in our group, & we had cocktails every night on her balcony (more like a deck!), & we could have fit a half dozen or more adults without a problem. The room was plenty big enough for her family of 5, including a 15yo.

Great! Thanks I am really looking forward to it now. When we booked the balconies were sold out and I have never cruised without one. So I kept watching and ended up with this one. From no balcony to huge. I feel very lucky.

How much do the family balcony rooms cost? Are they more expensive than a normal balcony room?

Not sure what the balconies were going for on this cruise because they were sold out bit it was $300 more for 2 people the OV.
