Advice for Getting Better service from the Wine Steward

Cruise Arizona

Recommended Posts

This is interesting. My only complaint with our first cruise this past February on HAL was the dining room service, and the wine steward in particular. I was ready to strangle him by the third night. HAL has wine collections that you can order ahead of time - but I had resisted hoping the list was more interesting than the wine package, and it was, marginally. But I was extremely sorry I had done this - as uninteresting wine at your table was better than no wine at all - which is what happened most of the time.

When we cruise on HAL again I will order from the list the day before at the wine desk in the afternoon to avoid this. How would one go about this on X? Is there a "wine desk"?
