Help with excursion for a family of 4

Some help with grand cayman excursion.

 

 

 

First time cruiser here and travelling with the mrs. and daughters 7 and 4. Will be going on a 7 days west Caribbean cruise in Jan 2015.

 

I have excursions planned for all ports except for Caymen? Any ideas? We can't do sting ray city because the kids might be a tiny bit scared, considering cemetery beach for snorkelling. Other port excursions:

 

Cozumel: Chankanaab and then San Miguel for some shopping and a bite

 

Costa Maya: Beach Day and Tropicante

 

Isla Roatan: Zip and Dip through Victor Bodden

 

Grand Cayme: ?!?!?!?

Young kids might/will enjoy the Turtle Farm, but I would just recommend hitting 7 mile beach. Lots of areas to enjoy that are not a long haul to get to.

 

You might also consider an excursion to Rum Point. While it's a bit of a ride (45 min. or so) the beach there is beautiful and perfect for little ones. Very serene and calm (usually). Just like you'd picture a tropical island without all the traffic and hotels that 7 Mile beach has.

It is easy to take a cab to 7 mile beach. They'll be waiting when you get off the tender. Also right there by the tenders are lots of shops to pick up souveniers.

Buses will take you to 7 Mile Beach, too...and for MUCH less money!

You could look into touring the turtle farm, and 7 mile beach on the way back.
