Tell Me About the Dining Rooms on the Caribbean Princess

I see there are three dining rooms on the Caribbean Princess; Island, Coral and Palm.

What is different about each?

Do they all serve the same food?

Is one used just for Anytime Diners?

Which is open on Embarkation day?

Any of them open on sea days for lunch?

The Island dining room is for anytime dining. The Coral dining room is fixed seating at 5:30 p.m. and anytime dining after 7 p.m. The Palm dining room is for only fixed seating. The food in each of the dining rooms is the same.

We were on the Dec. 14 cruise and our embarkation was delayed, so I don't know if lunch was available in any dining room.

Every day breakfast was served in the Coral dining room and lunch was served there on sea days as well. On the first and last sea day a "pub lunch" also was served in the Crown Grill - there was no charge for it and the fish and chip were pretty good.

If we are confirmed for 6:00 dining does that mean we will be in the Palm?
You will be in the deck 6 aft dining room. That's always the Traditional dining room on Princess ships. Note that to get there, you have to be on deck 7 or above. You can't get to deck 6 aft from the Atrium as the Anytime dining room and kitchen is between mid-ship and aft.

Thanks for the info.
