Cat 2 vs. Cat 3 River Beatrice

Hi All,

 

Does anyone have any insight into the primary difference is between a Cat 2 and Cat 3 cabin on the above referenced ship? It appears to be location, but maybe someone knows something I don't.

We were on the River Beatrice this fall in cabin 304, a category 3 cabin. There's absolutely no difference between it and cabin 306 (category 2) right next door, except you're slightly closer to the common areas. We never noticed noise and actually preferred this location as we were just a few steps from the common areas and the doors. Save a few dollars and go for the 3 if it's still available.

Agreed! Pounce on that category if it's still available, since sometimes there are only 4 cabins in an entire category and they go quickly! Uniworld's site does not update to show available room categories, so you always have to have your travel agent call them to check, which is annoying.
