Wi fi on azura

Recommended Posts

We thought the wifi on Azura was better than other ships we've been on. I went online to download my emails then wrote replies offline before going online again to send. All in all, I didn't spend that much, but it depends on how important it is for you to stay in touch. It's even dearer to use your mobile at sea. The other option is to find free wifi ashore. Where are you cruising to?

This is the info from the P&O website:

Internet Connection Charges

Access to the internet is available by purchasing time packages. Time packages range from 25 pence per minute* to 35 pence per minute* depending on the amount of time purchased. An activation charge of £2.50* is also applicable. You may opt for a Pay As You Go package which works out as approximately 50 pence per minute*.

Full details on the various time packages are available on board, however you are also able to pre purchase a time package from our gift catalogue which are available in the following amounts:

•£35* - A 100 minute package of Internet time for use on board, anywhere in the world. When this package is purchased prior to your cruise, 20 minutes will be added free, totalling 120 minutes.

•£62.50* - A 250 minute package of Internet time for use on board, anywhere in the world. When this package is purchased prior to your cruise, 30 minutes will be added free, totalling 280 minutes.

Hi tartan exile, not that desperate to get online , guess I'm a habitual browser lol , think phone will stay off too, visiting east carribean islands with azura first cruise so pretty naive cheers

every island will have beach / port / bars with free-wifi....some signals stronger than others depending on where you are - but you can usually get online within a few hundred yards of wherever you dock

Boro jazzer plenty of places you'll notice everyone in the port terminal in Barbados. My daughter had a good reception in the carambalo resort in st kitts. And in st maarten most bed and umbrella package's will come with free wifi .Just don't forget to knock your data roaming off before you fly. You said it's your first cruise, your gonna love it. Just come back off azura don't believe everything you here. Everyone looks for different things out of a holiday. Just remember to wear your tighter clothes first week.

didnt find it a problem personally was usually up before 7.00 am and even if it was a bit later there were still lots of beds about even on sea days. first level up from pool straight opposite sea scrren gets busy as its in the sun most of the day and has the best vantage point for films footy etc. alternatively if your not into football the coral pool was quieter especially on a saturday and sunday.

Hi could anyone advise re wifi on azura is it available, is there a charge, many thanks

Hi Middlesbrough jazzer

We usually buy the internet package to keep in touch with our daughter

While away, checking there's no parties :) most days we pick up a signal in

Cabin, if not we have to go to the glasshouse to get on line but overall

We are quite happy with £35 for 2 week cruise, and booked again for Feb,

a lovely young girl in the internet library got us up and running and sorted out passwords

Suited us not have to take IPad off ship.

Re sun loungers yes around pools and sunscreen we found towels early morning,

But plenty free near Retreat, and deck 19 Aft
