Question for MSC

We are sailing in March on the Divina in YC. I understand there are private excursions that can be booked through the YC Concierge and, although any excursion can be "customized", there are a few that are listed and placed with the other information brochures in the suite. Does anyone have this information that they can post? I don't want to reserve a shore excursion online and then have to cancel it after we are onboard because we want to go on one listed, and I don't think we should wait to book onboard and then find out that the other excursions are full. Can MSC help with this please?

I can only answer your question based on my experience. I was on Divina over Thanksgiving in YC 2 cabin.

You can book custom excursions as part of the YC. MSC will book for you whatever you want. They have a whole listing of suggested excursions. But you don't have to follow that. You just tell them what you want to do and they arrange it for you.

For example, I booked a four hour tour of Miami with a private driver. It was $400 dollars including the tip. When the driver came, I simply told him what I would like to do. So he took me to those places. I was very happy with the tour. I wasn't rushed or crowded (went on a solo basis).

On the other hand, you can book the regular excursions through YC. You simply tell them what you want and they book it for you. When it is time, your butler will escort you to your bus. You don't have to stand in line with everyone else. You get on the bus before everyone else.

My advice would be to wait until you get on the ship to book. Unless you have a large party, it is unlikely you won't be able to get want you want. That way you can decide whether to custom your excursion or go with the regular one.

By the way, the YC is fantastic and I think you will be very happy with the service.
