I had to post because I want to know if anyone else has gotten sooo "lucky"?

I received 3 free sailings (I have to pay tax and fees) from Carnival's casino in less than a week. I havnt sailed with them in years. And for those skeptics... no, I didn't spend a bunch of money in casino (less than $1000 over 8 cruises) when I did gamble, but I did win a jackpot. I booked the mother-load..23 days to Fiji, Tahiti, Bora Bora, to Australia. Cost me less than $500 for the 2 of us....I've seen where others were given 1, but never 3.

So Carnival gave you three free cruises 23 days worth for spending under $1K in their casinos over 8 cruises ?

You have a better chance of flying to the moon pre cruise

You must be bored please tell us another story ;)

Last June, I received a free cabin on the Splendor, Interior Room, I had to pay $180 Port Charges pp....In November 2013 got another free room offer, 2-5 day cruise. Sailing out Feb 26 on Fantasy. Paid $80 Port Charges pp.

Usually have over 3000 casino points by the time I leave a 7 night cruise. I don't think it matters how much you spend, but how much you play;)

I just received another casino offer on 10 select cruises. I can choose 1 from 10 different sailings. I have until Febuary 7 to decide. The prices range from $214-700. No Figi Sailings tho!! Nor Hawaii!! The cheapest was from NYC 8 nights, the most expensive was Alaska, 7 nights. The offer states free cocktails (while playing in the casino), $250 casino play. The one Im thinking about taking is out of Port Canaveral, $464 pp, 7 nights. All the sailings are taking place before May15.

One of these deals is why we are going on our cruise on January 13. They are very select cruises and ours had to be booked by January 9. An inside was free (you pay taxes and port charges) and a balcony was $50 p/p. We chose an aft wrap balcony on Verandah for a total of $200 (including taxes) which would be $1600 if we booked just on past guest discount. Thanks Players Club!! All I care about is that I'm going cruizin' !!!!

I wonder how "free" these offers are.............

Guess we'll never know until we are lucky enough to get the offer. Best I've received is the current premier cruise offer. 10 different cruises between 2/22/14 and 6/17/14, $300 casino cash, drinks on us cards, special welcome cocktail party, various tournaments, and reduced rates but no "free rooms."

Maybe CCL is offering some of these to entice people to sail, as they need bodies in those empty rooms. People spend for drinks, casino, etc., whereas empty rooms don't.

I only gamble blackjack and buy chips with cash so CCL never knows I am in there.

Maybe I will play the slots a little on my SNS card

Who knows, thats the only way I will get a "free" cruise :p

CCL rates the table players now. Our last cruise 11/30, each table I sat at, they asked for my S&S card as soon as I sat down, and a casino supervisor would write on a clip board, my name, past guest #, time, and average bet. They tend to track now more than ever.

I have read hundreds if not thousands of posting here on Cruise critic. So I am very aware that some people will never believe anything if it doesn't happen to them. I simply was sharing my happiness and very good luck with others. I was so happy about it that I not only posted but created an account just so I could open a thread. I've received comps from other cruise lines but NOTHING Like this! Certainly nothing worthy of posting about. The fare from Australia is just under $1200. We have decided to stay a few extra days since we will probably not make it back to that part of the world. The first offer was for interior with option to upgrade for around $100 dollars more. The second which came with "maximum" of 2 sailings did not have the cabin upgrade but did allow for 2 cabins on same sailing. That includes the Fiji sailing. However, It's unlikely that anyone I know can take that much time off from work. (Ive had to jump thru a million hoops to get the time off myself) I'm trying to "convince" my son to go to Alaska with the third as we have never been there. It's still up in air as its been hard enough trying to juggle arrangements for the plans we've made so far. When I spoke to carnival rep regarding these offers she said that there has been a significant increase in bookings over the past few weeks. The comment about it not being how much you play but how you play makes the most sense to me. I most always max bet when i play. I figure everyone else is playing the minimum and i can increase "my odds" if i bet differently than the herd. Who knows why they sent then to me!!! Carnival will be greatly disappointed if they think they will get the cost of these cruises from me... You can't get blood from a turnip...and I rarely drink. Once or twice a year I will have a cocktail. At any rate you can take it or leave it. I just wanted to share my good fortune. FYI the first offer came in the mail from carnival. If it hadn't been Xmas time I probably would have thrown it away. I've not opened there letters in ages. However, my friends were thinking of booking the Super Bowl cruise. So I opened it. Had to call carnival to make sure it wasn't a scam. She assured me it was not. Within days of booking the first offer the second offer was online in my "special rate" section. I have no idea if I've tossed out other offers. But I assure you I will open them from now on. Lol. Happy sailings to all... Even happier ones when there free.

No worries, I would have raised a brow also. I assure you I would not have even given the Tahitian cruise a thought had it not been for this. I work for a living, and although its a dream vacation. The realities of my life are my priority. Lol

Let me add that all of these offers are for the stateroom which means my traveling companion/2nd guest is also free!

I call shenanigans on the OP:rolleyes:

I agree!! Highly possible to get 3 letters but no way can they use one of them on a 23 day cruise!!! As other posters have indicated, the free crusies are on selected cruises not any cruise.

What make a person want to spread a story like that???
