Just wondering if Royal caribbean has any type of gift card? I know Disney sells gift cards for their cruises, but I have never seen any for royal caribbean. Any ideas?

Our daughter & son-in-law just gave us one of those RCL gift certificates for Christmas!

erfarb, just be aware of the restrictions on using the gift certificates. One important one is that they must be redeemed within ten business days prior to the sailing date. Some have mistakenly taken the certificate on the ship, and it it cannot be redeemed onboard.

It is very easy to purchase OBC (on board credit) for yourself or as a gift for someone. Just call Royal Caribbean's Gifts & Gear department at (800) 722-5443. If you can, have the reservation number handy (or the rep can likely look it up for you with ship, sail date, passenger name), as well as your credit card. The item for OBC is #651, and it is fully refundable if any remains at the end of the cruise. :)
